Senior Room Work - May 5th - 8th

Readtheory, Touchtyping & Splashmaths. 

 Each activity only takes 5/10 mins per day. All log on details are on my page.


ENGLISH 


5th & 6th class only –  Read ‘Goodnight Mister Tom’ – chapter 3 is on my teacher’s page & complete the 10 comprehension questions on the chapter


4th, 5th & 6th

  • Spellwell - Unit 28 activities & spelling test on Friday (you could put the words into sentences to show their meaning)
  • www.readtheory.org/auth/login - Your usernames & passwords are in the page 'Readtheory' in my classroom section. Try & do one activity per day.
  • Creative Writing -  This week's creative writing task is to write a story about 'A trip of a lifetime!' - where would you like to go on your holidays when we can all go travelling again? Who will you go with? What activities would you love to do? How will you get there? Where will you stay...? 

Maths

  • Maths Time  - Complete Week 28 activities plus 'challenges' on Friday
  • Revision of tables daily - this week revise/reinforce 4,8 & 12 times/division tables – revise them on Splashmaths  
  • 'Splash Maths' see log on details on previous post (your 3 assignments for this week are in your own sections)


Gaeilge  - Record/Watch ‘Cúla 4 ar scoil’ – Tá sé ar siúl ag a deich a chlog gach maidin ar TG4 (It’s on TG4 every morning @ 10 a.m.)

  • Fuaimeanna & focail - week 28 activities & spelling test on Friday
  • Béal Beo - log in on 'edco' site & start ‘interactive activities’ on ‘Caitheamh Aimsire' unit


  • Am don léamh  - 5th & 6th only - reading page 56 & complete activities on page 57 

Project Work/SESE – begin/finish a new project of your choice (Please see 'Project Work & Art Activities' on main blog for inspiration) - Please email your project photos to tlarke@stpatricksnstrim.com 



Touch -Typing Club - continue typing club daily – 5/10 mins per day (Please email me if you have forgotten your password)
