Archaeology Project Work

We recently completed projects on Archaeology in preparation for the visit of The School of Irish Archaeology in the coming weeks.

Here is some of our brilliant project work...we are currently completing project work on The Vikings in Ireland.

Working with our new Chromebooks!

We recently purchased 10 new HP Chromebooks for our school - here are some 5th class children making good use of them today!

Making Viking Longships & working as archaelogists

In preparation for 'The School of Irish Archaeology' visit to the school in mid May, the children in the senior room are currently doing project work on the life of an archaeologist & researching some amazing archaeological finds throughout history, including here in Ireland.

'The Big Dig' (more info on www.sia.ie) is a hands - on outdoor dig that enables children to work as archaeologists.
